Singapore

We'll overnight in Singapore to rest from the trip. The next morning, you'll have your first chance to connect with the new friends you haven't met yet before we continue to Delhi.

Delhi

After sleeping and having a leisurely breakfast going into our first day in India, we'll sight-see, eat great Indian food and visit Sikandra on the way to Agra, where we'll settle in for 3 days of wonder in the home of the world famous Taj Mahal.

Agra

There's nothing like visiting the majestic Taj Mahal at sunrise. This architectural marvel, which took 17 years for 20,000 craftsmen to complete, is a perfectly proportioned masterpiece fashioned from raw white marble and dazzling gemstones. We'll be in Agra for 3 nights, with time either relax or to visit all the major sites, including a journey with Jana on her quest to find the cheapest, most glittery sari stores.

Jaipur

Ready to ride an elephant up a mountain to a fortress overlooking Jaipur? During our 4 nights here, you can also go to Shee Deep Ashram for classes in yoga and meditation. In Jaipur we'll enjoy a special Rajasthani dinner where you'll experience a sampling of authentic Indian foods, a puppet show, and traditional Rajasthani dances.

Udaipur

This is one of India's most beautiful cities to explore, situated on a lake, and surrounded by other lakes. Udaipur is a town built up around a village, and the village is still there, with narrow lanes that are barely wide enough for 2 oxcarts. You can wander for hours there, browsing and visiting with the shopkeepers. You've probably heard about the amazing clothes you can have made in India, where you can choose the fabric, point to or draw (yes, draw!) a design, and they tailor it for you, sometimes overnight. Jaipur and Udaipur are ideal places to have this done.

Return home from Udaipur or we'll help you get to the ashram of your choice.
